Google Gemini could become your invisible AI friend soon thanks to headphones support

Last week, Google introduced a new app called Gemini for Android phones in the US. They plan to bring it to more places soon. They might also make it work with special headphones that use Google Assistant.

A recent look into the beta version of Google’s app found a hint that Gemini might soon work with these headphones.

Right now, if you use Google Assistant headphones like Pixel Buds Pro or Sony WF-1000XM5, you won’t get help from Gemini.

But that could change soon. Gemini offers more detailed responses than the current Assistant, but it’s still figuring things out, so it might be a bit tricky to use.

Gemini works a lot like Bard, allowing longer chats about various topics.

But, it’s still not clear how well it will work with headphones. Responses might be shorter to make them easier to listen to.

Gemini isn’t fully ready yet. It’s better to stick with Google Assistant for now on your phone.

Google fixed a major issue with Gemini, but there are still some bugs to work out. They’re also adding features like interacting with your calendar and reminders.

They’re focusing on fixing these issues and making Gemini available in more places before they add support for headphones.

We’re excited to try Gemini with headphones, and we’ll let you know when it’s ready to use!
